This customer manufactures high-end cooling elements for refrigerated transport. In the production process, water is used that is buffered in two tanks. The microbiological quality of this water is very important.
Bacterial growth or bio-film in the tanks is unacceptable
Therefore, we chose a two-stage solution for this project:
- Disinfecting all incoming water with a UVC flow-through system. This reduces any organisms present in the incoming tap water by more than 99.99%.
- Keeping the buffer tanks clean 24/7 with an immersed UVC solution. Even on warm days or during a production stop, the water remains free from micro-organisms.
Both the flow-through system and the immersion system are equipped with fault and maintenance notifications.
